the petit lijiang is altogether a restaurant, a multi-language bookshop and a travel agency. in a nicely-renovated typical naxi house, it offers a two-story-high house attached with a small courtyard and a balcony. opened in august, 2005, the petit lijiang is run by a belgian-chinese couple and is located in the quiet chongren lane, in a still non-crowded area of the old town lijiang, next to wan zi bridge and puxian temple. besides excellent food and interesting books, the petit lijiang also boasts an excellent list of wines, belgian beers and an amazing collection of art movies.  its nice and relaxed atmosphere will undoutebdly prove to be one of the unforgettable moments during your travel.
